We have a very special volunteer project coming up in February and need many volunteers! We will be receiving donations from two trade shows at the Orange County Convention Center from February 14th-15 and 24th-26th. The items donated by the show will be used in the construction of our homes and sold in our ReStores. The funds raised at the ReStores help to ensure the success of our mission.
Volunteers will confirm donations with vendors, gather donations, palletize and wrap donations, and move donations to the loading docks. This event requires a lot of walking, standing, and lifting. Both individuals and groups are welcome.
A few key items regarding this volunteer opportunity:
- All volunteers must be 18 years or older
- Lunch, snacks, and plenty of water will be provided
- We will be offering a few different shift options with a minimum of a 6 hour volunteer project.

Volunteers should always expect to be hands-on and every volunteer day is different. We have a variety of opportunities for individuals and groups, and all levels of commitment and experience are welcome. Our Volunteer Coordinator and ReStore staff will provide you with the training you need to have a positive experience at our ReStores!
To get started volunteering, you must attend a short, one-hour orientation and be 16 years of age or older.
